——————————————————— 1978 Reunion Questionnaire ———————————————————

  1) The important people in my life (spouses, partners, children) are...

Charles Grant (husband), Brendon (12 year old son) and Julian (8 year old son).

  2) I went to Westtown because…

I longed to be in a school I could connect with in a community of which I could feel part -- Westtown was a precious gift to me in that way and in many other ways too.

  3) My occupation is a Educator/Researcher and Westtown prepared me for it by …

My current work configuration combines the "in the trenches" challenges of serving as a K-8 math coordinator for the Rivendell Interstate (VT/NH) School District, and my ongoing evaluation and research work on mathematics leadership in the Boston Public Schools. I see this work as being fundamentally about Quaker leadership -- thanks to Westtown and my continuing close association with/particpation in the Friends community for ongoing inspiration and insight.

  4) My life’s greatest moments and challenges (to date) would be …

(no response provided.)

  5) Westtown’s most inspirational faculty, classmate, friend (multiple choices accepted) would have to be …

(no response provided.)

  6) The most memorable time I broke the rules would be when I …

(no response provided.)

  7) Was there a point in your life when you recognized any benefit from your time at Westtown?

(no response provided.)

  8) Do you plan to attend the 25th year reunion in May?

No, I am not going to attend because... I'm so sorry -- my choral group, the Thetford Chamber Singers, will be performing it's 25th anniversary concert on that very same weekend. So, you can think of me belting out Vivaldi's Gloria and I'll be thinking of you reconnecting and catching up like crazy.

Charlie and I do hope to make it to my 30th reunion with our boys. In the meantime, warmest wishes to all.
